Scholar academy uses the Wonders reading program in addition to Fundations to teach reading skills and phonics.
Your child should be reading 20 minutes each night to increase their reading fluency and stay on grade level.
Each Monday your student will receive a new spelling list. Spelling tests will be given on Friday. The words marked with an * are bonus words. Please assess your student and have them practice the words they do not know how to spell. We also work on these in class. The extra one on one help at home is very beneficial.
